The Process To Getting Your New Roof After A Major Hail or Wind Storm

• As your American Pride Roofing representative and advocate, we will call your insurance company and file a claim and request an insurance adjuster come to your home and inspect the damage.
• Your insurance company will assign an adjuster to make an inspection of your roof and any other damage caused by the storm. (State law requires no more than 72 hours before you are contacted by your insurance adjuster)
• Once the insurance adjuster has contacted you, he or she will give you, the homeowner a date and time when they will arrive to inspect the damages to your home. (it is very important that you contact your American Pride Roofing representative as soon as you are notified of the time and date for the appointment)
• Your American Pride Roofing representative will arrive one hour earlier than the insurance adjuster to mark (or re-mark) with washable sidewalk chalk the damaged area of your roof and inspect and discuss with you, the homeowner any other damages that need to be pointed out to the insurance adjuster before he or she arrives.
• Your American Pride Roofing representative will then meet with insurance adjuster and discuss the damages caused by the hail or wind storm and negotiate a fair settlement that benefits, you the homeowner. (Remember your adjuster works for the insurance company and is looking out for their best interest)
• Once the settlement has been reached, the adjuster will send you a written report outlining the damages and amount they are going to pay for the damages along with your check, less you insurance deductible. If there are any discrepancies in the your insurance report your American Pride Roofing representative will contact your insurance companies adjuster and get these problems corrected and a second check will be sent.
